    BRADENTON — Sprint car driver David Steele was killed in a crash during a race Saturday at Desoto Speedway. Steele, an Indianapolis native who lived in Tampa, was 42.

    Ryan Newman is cooled down with ice in victory lane after winning in Arizona where temperatures reached 97 degrees.
