Tampa Bay's most unique Airbnb rentals include the RV parked behind Ferg's

Don't pull out the air mattress next time you're expecting a visitor to the Tampa Bay area. Just ask yourself, 'do they like to party?'."

There's an unusual St. Petersburg vacation rental listed on Airbnb these days: an RV parked in the lot behind Ferg's Sports Bar, the 12,000-square-foot, multi-story bar and restaurant connected to Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays, via a tunnel under First Avenue S.

In need of a late-night order of chicken wings, or a nap between afternoon games broadcast on the bar's 64 TV's? This rental, listed as Ferg's Sports Bar RV/Party Bus is literally steps away.

According to the listing, which appears to have been posted by Ferg's owner Mark Ferguson, "When can you stay on the grounds of a two city block size sports bar? Now you can! Stay on Ferg's RV and be 50 feet from a sports bar open from 11am-3am and 50 feet from Tropicana Field."

The Party Bus is listed at $50 a night, and comes with a reserved parking space behind Ferg's, which is almost worth it in itself considering what parking is like along Central Avenue on game days.

The one-bedroom RV has four beds, can host up to five guests and includes Wi-Fi.

Guest interaction? "Either I or one of my management staff will be available to you during your stay," the listing reads.

And before you even ask, no, you can't drive the RV down Central Avenue with your friends shouting from the roof. It remains stationary (as do the boats listed below).

It's also not Ferguson's only unique Airbnb rental. He also lists an "exclusive loft in a 129 year old train station" at the Ferg's bar in Orlando.

If you've never taken that deep a dive into Airbnb, the app allows you to sort rentals by property type, which in addition to "apartment, "house" and "bed & breakfast," includes options to search for rentals tagged as "boat," "train," "castle," "cave," or "tent," in addition to others. We looked to see what other unusual rentals are available around Tampa Bay.

"Hunt Haven Caboose," Clearwater

From the listing: "If you'd like to try tiny house living, or if you want to say you've spent the night in a 1925 wooden caboose, this is your place! This modernized caboose has 1 bath with shower, bedroom, and living room (with a futon that unfolds into a full-size bed)."

Price: $81 per night

"Fabulous 47' Houseboat," Tarpon Springs

Of note: If you need more luxury, there's also this 72-foot yacht docked in Clearwater for $495 per night (below).

"Mancave Country Club," Tampa

The most expensive airbnb (we could find) in Tampa Bay.

This entire "private resort" estate that sleeps 30 in Pass-A-Grille.

Of note: The runner-up is this golf course compound with a private movie theater.

Price: It varies, but the upcoming weekend would run you $2,632 a night.

The cheapest airbnb (we could find) in Tampa Bay?

This shared room in Citrus Park.

From the listing: "My place is close to shopping, citrus mall, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, the beach."
