Pedestrian injured after early-morning hit-and-run in Spring Hill

A Spring Hill man suffered minor injuries after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver early Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say Brandon Credelle, 35, was walking west along the south shoulder of County Line Road, east of Shady Hills Road, around 2:30 a.m.

Around the same time, a dark-colored Ford SUV traveling eastbound on County Line Road struck Credelle and fled the scene, troopers said.

Credelle was transported to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point with minor injuries, troopers said.

The SUV should have damage to its side mirror, troopers said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FHP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
