UPDATE: When Busch Gardens, Disney World and other attractions open again

Local theme parks and attractions were mostly spared from Hurricane Irma's wrath. Like many Tampa Bay area residents, many of the attractions reported only minor damage in their parks and were able to maintain power to their facilities.

Busch Gardens, Lowry Park Zoo and SeaWorld also all reported that their animals were safe.

IRMA VS. T-REX: Plant City's Dinosaur World comes out unscathed

Busch Gardens: Re-opens 10 a.m. Wednesday and is offering a buy one, get one free deal on admission through Sunday. The Tampa theme park also said its waterpark Adventure Island is operating on a weekend-only schedule and will determine a reopening date later this week. Find updates at buschgardens.com/tampa.

The Dali Museum: Reopens 10 a.m. Wednesday. Check dali.org/hurricane for updates.

St. Petersburg Museum of History: Will open Thursday.

Florida Aquarium: The Tampa Strong Day deal continues Wednesday with free parking, $10 adult admission and $5 child admission.

Henry Plant Museum: The Tampa museum will reopen Thursday.

Lowry Park Zoo: Opens 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. More information at lowryparkzoo.org and the park's Facebook page.

Universal Orlando: All three parks — Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay — have opened. The opening night for this year's Halloween Horror Nights is still planned for Friday. More information at universalorlando.com and halloweenhorrornights.com.

Walt Disney World: All parks have opened and the Disney Springs shopping district is open. More information at disneyworld.com.

SeaWorld Orlando: Reopens 10 a.m. Wednesday. More information at seaworld.com/orlando.

Legoland: The hotel reopens Wednesday. The theme park and Beach Retreat open 9 a.m. Thursday. Visit legoland.com/hurricane for updates.
