Today's Hurricane Irma concert postponements: Paramore, Tony Bennett, Steve Earle, more
More concert cancellations keep rolling in around Central Florida due to Hurricane Irma:
-- Steve Earle and the Dukes have postponed Saturday's sold-out concert at the Capitol Theatre. Click here.
-- Passafire and the Werks have postponed their concert Friday at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg. Click here.
-- Tony Bennett has postponed his Friday concert at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota. He'll be back in 2018. Also, the Van Wezel has postponed its Sept. 9 on-sale date for most of the shows in its upcoming season; they will now go on sale Sept. 16. Click here.
-- Side Splitters Comedy Club in Tampa has canceled its shows for the week. Click here.
-- Paramore has postponed their concert on Sunday at the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando. The new date is Dec. 5, a couple of days after they play 97X Next Big Thing in Tampa. Click here.
-- Alt-rock station 97X has canceled this weekend's local ticket drops for Bastille's free Sept. 18 concert at the Mahaffey Theater. They'll resume again on Wednesday.
-- Orlando's performances of Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream, Friday through Sunday at the Amway Center, have been postponed until May 2018. Click here.
