2017 Grammys: Twenty One Pilots, Maren Morris, Cage the Elephant among winners coming to Tampa Bay
While the world waits for the Supreme Court to take up the matter of Adele v. Beyonce at the 2017 Grammys, let's look beyond the Album of the Year controversy for just a minute.
Here in Tampa Bay, we've got plenty of newly minted Grammy winners and performers coming to town over the next few months. We probably won't see Beyonce or Adele, but we will see the following artists...
-- Twenty One Pilots (above): The duo delivered a memorable acceptance speech after winning Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Stressed Out. They'll be at Tampa's Amalie Arena on Feb. 28. Click here.
-- Willie Nelson/Little Big Town: A surprise winner for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Summertime: Willie Nelson Sings Gershwin, the country icon will perform at the Florida Strawberry Festival on March 3. Meanwhile, performers Little Big Town will be there March 5. Click here.
-- Cage the Elephant: After winning Best Rock Album for Tell Me I'm Pretty, the Kentucky rockers will headline the Gasparilla Music Festival on March 11 in Curtis Hixon Park. Click here.
-- Fantastic Negrito: Fantastic Negrito won Best Contemporary Blues Album for The Last Days of Oakland; he's one of the headliners at this year's Safety Harbor Songfest on April 1-2. Click here.
-- The Chainsmokers: The electronic duo won Best Dance Recording for Don't Let Me Down, and they'll be at Amalie Arena on April 14. Click here.

-- Maren Morris: Morris, who performed at Sunday's Grammys and won Best Country Solo Performance for My Church, will open for Sam Hunt on July 14 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. Click here.
-- Hillary Scott/Kelsea Ballerini: Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for Love Remains and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for Thy Will. Lady A will play the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on July 28. Opening that show is Kelsea Ballerini, a Best New Artist nominee who performed at the Grammy ceremony. Click here.
