Coming to Hulu in November: Marvel’s ‘Runaways,’ ‘Future Man,’ Christmas Classics and more

RECOMMENDED READING

Hulu is getting in the holiday spirit quite early this year by adding at least five new Christmas movies to its list of feel-good holiday picks.

When it comes to new originals, the streaming service adds two new series that will sure to have the geeks' attentions. First there's Future Man, a show packed with '80s pop culture nostalgia. Then there's Marvel's Runaways, based on comic book series and adding to the already lengthy list of Marvel small screen adaptations.

Here's some of our top picks on Hulu this month.
Airplane!: The 1980 satirical disaster film parody is heralded as one of the funniest movies of all time. It was also the debut film for Otto, the inflatable autopilot who became one of the most iconic movie objects of all time.

"Surely you can't be serious." "I am serious. And don't call me Shirley." Nov. 1
The Aristocats: Everybody wants to be a cat. At least they did when this 1970 Disney animated classic first premiered. Cameos by two kooky English geese and an alley cat jazz band. Nov. 1
Christmas Classics: Jingle Bells, O'Christmas Tree, Santa's Christmas Crash, Santa's Christmas Snooze and We Wish You a Merry Christmas: These animated flicks aren't as iconic as the stop-motion Rudolph and Santa Claus classics, but they're sure to still get you in the holiday spirit. Nov. 1
Taboo Season 1: The brooding FX series stars Tom Hardy as an adventure whose been presumed to be long dead, but returns to London to inherit his late father's shipping empire. It's 1814 and Hardy's character also returns home with 14 stolen diamonds from Africa. Nov. 10
Future Man series premiere: Josh Hutcherson is a janitor by day and a world-ranked gamer by night. Then he's tasked with saving the world after mysterious time travelers tell him he's the key to defeating an imminent alien invasion. Nov. 14
Marvel's Runaways series premiere: A group of misfit teens who can barely stand each other have to unite to defeat their own parents, who they just found out are members of an evil cult. Nov. 21
